The aircraft took off from Mianwali base to monitor flood situation

MIANWALI (Dunya News) – Unmanned aircraft of Pakistan Air Force crashed near Head Pakka in an unpopulated area, reported Saturday.

Authorities concerned stated that the aircraft took off from Mianwali base to monitor different areas regarding flood situation and encountered a technical snag.

No injury or casualty was reported on the ground as the aircraft crashed in an unpopulated area.

Earlier on January 15, a drone of the air force crashed in Chiniot. The unmanned aircraft belly-landed in a field at Pirwala road and was engulfed in flames.

By the end of the same month, another drone which was on a routine flight in the 106-northern area of Sargodha encountered a mechanical fault and crashed.
