Lahore experiences rain, weather in most parts of country hot
Temperatures in various plain areas remain scorching hot
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Citizens of Lahore after experiencing yet another hot day, were relieved after showers in various parts of the city cooled the temperature down despite the fact that weather in most part of the country remained hot, reported Dunya News on Tuesday.
Temperature in Larkana, Nawabshah, Dalbadin and Kohat stayed at 46 degree Celsius throughout the entire day. Temperature in Lahore reached 43 degrees Celsius but the heat got replaced with overcast conditions in the afternoon resulting in cool breezes blowing and showers in different areas.
At the same time, many plain areas experienced a strong heat wave throughout the day. Temperatures in Bakhar, Rahim Yar Khan, Jacobabad and Turbat reached 45 degrees Celsius.
Meteorological department predicted downpours in Islamabad, upper and central Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and various areas of Gilgit-Baltistan during the next days.
