Quetta: YDA's protest continues on nineteenth day for acceptance of demands

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Young Doctors Association has continued protest on nineteenth day for the acceptance of demands in Quetta, reported on Saturday.

According to details, the medical practitioners closed OPDs and chanted slogans against the hospital management, urging to accept their demands. The action badly created difficulties for the patients in hospitals. 

The protestors stated that they are holding peaceful sit-in over non-payment of salaries. They complained that the provincial government is not taking any action in this regard which is unaccepted.

The doctors demanded recovery of abducted Dr Irshad Khosa and also warned of intensifying the protest if govt fails to resolve the matter till May 24.

YDA also announced to stage sit-in outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly on MAy 25.
