Medics to take blood samples of 'solar kids' relatives in Quetta

The brothers spent first active night of their lives at PIMS

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Medics will be taking blood samples of brother and relatives of the ‘solar kids’ for further diagnosis of the disease, reported Thursday.

A special team headed by Dr Zaman accompanied Hashim and his two sons from Islamabad to Quetta. The kids are better after treatment at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).

Genetic experts will also take samples of the sand, water for tests.

‘Solar kids’ were brought to Lahore by Dunya News after the two brothers were found suffering from an astounding disease. The kids used to appear ‘half-dead’ after sunsets but were active and playful all through the day.

Dunya News announced to bear expenses of the treatment and shifted them to PIMS from Lahore where they spent the first active night of the lives after few days.
