Land mafia backed by PML-N's MPA Zulqarnain Dogar planned my murder: ETPB Chairman

NANKANA SAHIB (Dunya News) – Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiqul Farooq has alleged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) MPA Zulqarnain Dogar of backing up land mafia who planned his alleged murder.
The ETPB chief held a press conference to address the issue.
Siddiqul Farooq stated that some 200 men attacked his convoy while armed men opened fire leaving two of his security guards injured. He has alleged councilor Riaz Chaudhry and MPA Zulqarnain Dogar of pocketing millions of Rupees through land-grabbing.
The board’s chairman said that Nankana Sahib DPO was written a letter to before the operation was launched. He asked why the DCO did not act against the violent mob.
He claimed that the attack was a planned activity. Evacuee Trust property Board’s chief also stated that Inspector General (IG) Mushtaq Ahmed Sukhera and Home Secretary were informed about the clash.
On the other hand, refuting the allegation, MPA Dogar stated that the locals turned violent after women were tortured during operation. He asserted that the issue would be raised before party’s leadership.
