Law enforcement personnel arrest four close aides of Uzair Baloch from Karachi
The arrests came after Baloch identified his accomplices during investigation.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Law enforcement agencies on Tuesday arrested four close aides of Uzair Baloch, a notorious leader of the Lyari gang war and chief of proscribed Peoples Amn Committee (PAC), from Karachi.
According to details, the arrests came after Baloch identified his accomplices during investigation.
Security personnel while raiding the areas of Lyari and Memon Goth detained the suspects who were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
Uzair Baloch was arrested by Rangers on January 30, 2016 as he was trying to enter Karachi from the city’s suburbs and was handed to Rangers for 90 days by the court.
Uzair Baloch, the chief of the banned Peoples Aman Committee (PAC), fled Pakistan in 2013 after the launch of a Rangers operation in the metropolis.
The suspect has been blamed for running a network involved in criminal activities including killings, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and drugs business.
Several cases were registered again him at police stations in different areas including Kalakot, Chakiwara, Napier and Baghdadi.
