Karachi: Educational institutes, markets to remain closed today

Private educational institutes, transport and business centers will remain closed today due to prevailing unrest in Karachi after recent wave of killings. All exams being held in Karachi University, Federal Urdu University and Dow University have been suspended. Karachi Transport Alliance president Syed Irshad Hussain Bukhari while talking to Dunya News said that public transport would be closed due to deteriorating law and order situation in the city as angry protesters used to set ablaze buses in the past. All exams being held in Karachi University, Federal Urdu University have been suspended. Private School Association has announced closure of all private schools on Wednesday. Chairman Karachi Traders Action Committee Siddiq Memon said that all business centers and markets would remain closed due to killing of traders and burning of shops.
