ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former President Asif Ali Zardari On Sunday said that authority has been transferring from public to non-elected powers and that power comes through ballox box rather than bullet, reported Dunya News.
In a statement released on the occasion of death anniversary of Former Prime Minister (PM) Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari said that power comes through ballot box rather from bullet. He said that ultimate authority is being transferred from public to non-elected powers within these tough times.
Former President also said that Bhutto’s philosophy needs to be followed to overcome the current situation. No one can forget the exploits of hope he has given to the nation. We have to dedicate ourselves to strengthen democracy, he added.
