Jacobabad: Clash between two groups leaves seven dead, four injured

JACOBABAD (Dunya News) – At least seven people were killed while four sustained injuries in a clash between two groups over land dispute in Jacobabad today (Sunday).

According to details, a scuffle between Soomro and Dhani groups broke out in Garhi Khairo over 1,000 acre piece of land.

The suspects opened fire at one another as a consequence of which one person from Dhani group and six people of Soomro group were killed.

The deceased have been identified as Murad, Ghulam Ali, Kallu, Manzoor, Ameer Baksh, Gul Jan and Mashooq whereas Sher Khan, Shahzado, Zaib and Hameed were injured in the incident.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sajid Khokhar has assured to have launched a search operation in the area.
