Explosion in water tank in Karachi injures one, damages several vehicles
BDS officials have stated that the blast happened due to gas accumulation in water tank.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Atleast one person got minor injuries on Wednesday during a blast in a water tank near Abdullah Shah Gazi area of Karachi.
According to details, the blast occurred in a water tank placed in a building causing fear and panic among the residents.
Heavy contingent of police reached the scene after the incident and also summoned Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
BDS officials gathered proofs from the blast site and searched the area.
They have also stated that the blast happened due to gas accumulation in water tank.
The blast slightly injured a person who was shifted to a nearby hospital whereas numerous vehicles standing close to the building were damaged.
Moreover, police has said that further probe will also be made into the incident.
