THATTA (Dunya News) – At least 10 persons scorched to death as fire engulfed huts in Thatta today (Sunday).

According to details, a fire broke out when a tank full of diesel accidentally scattered in Keti Bandar in Thatta on late Saturday night, killing ten people while the blaze has also turned dozens of huts into ashes.

The residents shifted the other four injured to hospital and sought help from the authorities. No rescue team arrived at the spot due to its location near seashore.

Two children and four women were among the deceased people.
