Teen gang-rape case: Victim was 'friends' with accused
The police are investigating on multiple angles with the help of mobile phone records
LAHORE (Dunya News) – With the discovery of new evidence, the Lahore teen gang rape case appears even more tangled, Dunya News reported.
According to details, new discovery suggests that the victim already knew the prime suspect Adnan and was allegedly friends with him. They allegedly talked on social messaging app WhatsApp regularly.
Reportedly, the victim repeatedly expressed the desire to meet the accused and also sent him the photos of her cousin. The police sources have claim that the victim and accused Adnan have met in the same hotel multiple times before.
The police are investigating on multiple angles with the help of mobile phone records and the evidence recovered from the crime scene.
Prior to this development, the victim has refused to appear before the court and undergoing a medical exam which has tangled the case further.
