International smuggler, infamous terrorist belonging to Karachi Abbas Afridi arrested from Peshawar
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – International smuggler, and infamous terrorist, Abbas Afridi has on Saturday been arrested from Peshawar by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police. The terrorist, who originally belongs from Karachi, was involved in attacks on police, ethnic extremism and murders of common citizens, reported Dunya News.
According to sources, Abbas Afridi belonged from Katti Paharri area of Karachi. The arrested suspect is involved in murders of police officers and dozens of citizens in ethnic riots in Karachi a few years back.
Sources told that Abbas Afridi was arrested upon the information provided by his already arrested brother Bilal Afridi. Abbas was wanted in dozens of cases registered against him in various police stations of Karachi.
Peshawar police has asked the Karachi police for the details of the cases registered against Abbas Afridi. Two months ago, Two of the suspect’s brothers, Sajid and Zafar, were killed in a police encounter with CTD.
