LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday has said that the government is using modern technology to counter terrorism.
The Chief Minister chaired a high-level meeting in the provincial capital today.
He said that banned outfits would be terminated with full throttle. The meeting reviewed progress in implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) and security maintenance in the province.
While addressing the participants, Chief Minister said that the government is taking every possible step to ensure safety of people’s properties and lives. Punjab government has taken necessary measures to ensure implementation of the National Action Plan.
He vowed to amend laws to further curb sectarianism, terrorism and extremism.
Shahbaz Sharif has directed law enforcers to continue indiscriminate action against all organizations and persons affiliated with publication and distribution of religious-hatred literature.
