Journalist bodies protested outside Parliament House over attack on Dunya News Faisalabad office
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcast Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Monday said that the attackers on Dunya News Faisalabad office will be brought to justice. Journalist bodies staged a protest outside Parliament House in Islamabad against the attack on Faisalabad Bureau office of Dunya News, reported Dunya News.
As the protests against the grenade attack on Dunya News and Roznama Dunya office in Faisalabad continue, journalist bodies held a demonstration outside Parliament House in Islamabad today. Journalist leaders and journalists from print and electronic media attended the protest against the attack on Dunya News Faisalabad office in large numbers.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid also attended the demonstration. Addressing the protesters on this occasion, Rashid said that the terrorists could have targeted the journalists. He said that the culprits of the attack on Dunya News will be brought to justice.
The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that the media is also fighting on the front and together we will eliminate terrorism. He said that arrangements will be made for the security of media houses in smaller cities as well.
