Interior Ministry directs expediting Islamabad search operation
Nisar directs Islamabad administration to make policy within a week about deported people
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Monday ordered expediting the search operation in Islamabad. He has also directed the Ministry of Interior to make the policy regarding the deported people within one week and send the letters to all the embassies, reported Dunya News.
In a meeting held at Interior Ministry in Islamabad, Nisar directed the ministry to expedite the search operation in the capital. Scotland Yard team will visit Pakistan to check the quality of the Safe City project.
Interior Minister also directed the ministry to devise a policy regarding the deported people within one week and send it to all the embassies. A special committee has also been set up at the Interior Ministry to formulate the policy and also coordinate with the Foreign Ministry in this regard.
The meeting also discussed the registration of NGOs under new policy and the matters related to removing of the names from Exit Control List (ECL).
