ECP releases schedule for 3rd phase of local body elections
Polling will be held on December 3 in 12 districts of Punjab and 6 districts of Sindh
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Monday released the schedule for the 3rd phase of local body elections in Punjab and Sindh. Polling will be held on December 3 in 12 districts of Punjab and 6 districts of Sindh, reported Dunya News.
According to the schedule, polling will be held in 6 districts of Sindh and 12 districts of Punjab on December 3. The nomination papers will be submitted to the election commission between October 3 and 7, scrutiny of the papers will be done from October 8 to 13 while the appeals will be heard till October 30.
The candidates will be able to withdraw their papers on November 6.
