Van association to strike over wardens' campaign against CNG cylinders

Traffic police have taken stern action against more than 100 violators until now.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – School van association in Karachi has announced strike on Monday over traffic wardens’ campaign against low-standard CNG cylinders, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

Traffic wardens revealed that the allotted time period to van owners has been expired after which the authority has right to adopt precautionary measures.

Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Munir Shiekh stated that no one would be allowed to endanger the lives of children, therefore the administration has decided to continue the ongoing campaign against van owners.

Traffic police have taken stern action against more than 100 violators until now.

On the other hand, school van association has refused to follow police’s order and has announced strike on Monday.
