Weapons-laden vehicle seized, two suspected terrorists arrested in Gujrat
Two TTP terrorists were arrested during join action near Shaheen Chowk in Gujrat.
GUJRAT (Dunya News) – Police and intelligence agencies have seized a weapons-laden vehicle and arrested two suspected terrorists during joint action in Gujrat today (Thursday).
Addressing a press conference, DPO Gujrat Rai Zameerul Haq said a mini truck bearing number plate JY-0317 was stopped near a checkpoint at Shaheen Chowk.
The law enforcement personnel recovered 40 types of rifles, four kalashnikovs and more than 150,000 bullets from the vehicle.
Two suspected terrorists identified as Gul Munir and Muhammad Jameel were arrested on the spot. The suspects belong to banned Tehreek-e-Taliban who were planning a major attack in Gujrat.
