Terrorist plot foiled in Gujranwala, Peshawar
4 terrorists were arrested in the raids.
PESHAWAR, GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Terrorists plot were foiled in cities of Peshawar and Gujranwala on Independence Day as 4 terrorists were arrested with suicide jackets and assorted ammunition, reported Dunya News.
A special unit of police raided Bacha Ghulam area of Peshawar and arrested 2 terrorists and confiscated 2 pistols and 2 suicide jackets. The suicide jackets contained 15 bombs each.
In Gujranwala, security agencies and police confiscated large amount of ammunition from a truck on Chenab Bridge. Two suspects were also arrested. The arms and ammunition included dozens of Kalashnikovs, LMG rifles, 50 pistols and thousands of bullets.
