More revelations regarding 'china-cutting' suspect Chunnu Mamu

Two aides of Chunnu Mamu have already been arrested.

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Investigators have revealed more details regarding Ahsan alias Chunnu Mamu, the prime suspect in china-cutting scam.

According to initial probe, Chunnu Mamu grabbed a one thousand yards bungalow in Clifton’s Bath Island through fake documents. The bungalow was auctioned by a person namely SM Nabi to KMC in 1951.



In 2012, Chunnu Mamu prepared fake documents of the bungalow with the help of land department officials.



The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has obtained sale and purchase record the bungalow. As per record, concerned departments were given Rs212,000 under the lease plan.

Investigators are also tracking Chunnu Mamu’s property in Gulistan-e-Johar and other parts of the city.

Two aides of the prime suspect have already been arrested.
