MPs resignations: Altaf endorses Raabta Committee decision
MQM chief has endorsed party’s MPs decision to resign from Senate, NA and provincial assembly.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has endorsed the Raabta Committee decision of tendering resignation from Senate, National Assembly and Sindh Assembly in protest against Rangers operation in Karachi.
The decision was taken during MQM Raabta Committee meeting simultaneously held in London and Karachi on late Tuesday night and presided by party chief Altaf Hussain.
The MQM party members of Senate, National Assembly and Sindh Assembly will submit their resignations to the MQM parliamentary leader.
The MQM parliamentarians will tender their resignation in phases. National Assembly members will resign today then from Senate and Sindh Assembly.
