Upper Dir: 3 dead as vehicle carrying wedding guests falls in river
The injured have been transferred to DHQ Hospital.
UPPER DIR (Dunya News) – A vehicle carrying wedding guests fell in a river in area of Dog Dara on Saturday. 3 people including a woman died due to the accident while 5 injured people have been transferred to safety. Search for 7 missing persons is underway, reported Dunya News.
According to police report, the accident occurred due to car getting out of control of the driver while 3 casualties have occurred so far.
District Commissioner (DC) Upper Dir said that search for 7 missing persons is underway.
According to locals, due to recent rains the level of water in the rivers has been elevated which is restricting the relief efforts hence the missing persons have not been found. The injured have been transferred to DHQ Hospital.
