Camel racing: SC seeks report on children trafficking to UAE
The Supreme Court has ordered the Interior Secretary to submit a comprehensive report about trafficking of children to UAE as jockeys in camel racing. During the hearing, the apex court asked the officials of interior ministry to file the detailed report in the next hearing on Aug 6. In his remarks, Justice Khalil ur Rehman Ramday said some TV analysts are accusing the courts of creating unrest in the country through suo motto notices. Has anyone in the government taken notice of the cats food being fed to children? And has the Supreme Court made a mistake by taking notice of the report? he commented. The court then put off the hearing till Aug 6.
