Comprehensive security plan chalked out for Eid: Sindh Police IG
As many as 37 high-profile cases have been solved which include Safoora shooting, says Jamali
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Police Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Haider Jamali on Friday has said that a security plan has been chalked out to ensure security of the people across the province during Eid days.
He expressed these views while talking to the media after offering his condolences to Member of National Assembly (MNA) Muhammad Ayaz Soomro on death of his father in Larkana.
The IG said that police have also been appointed at Sea View to ensure special protection. He said that numerous cases have been registered against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in the province. The police would investigate and take the cases further solely on merit, he added.
Jamali said that target killings and street crimes have neared zero in the province due to police’s exceptional performance. He said that the situation in Karachi is much better today than past. Sindh IG said that as many as 37 high-profile cases have been solved which include Safoora shooting.
Larkana Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and other were present on the occasion.
