Legendary sportsmen, scientists, engineers and philanthropists were honored under the hashtag

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan is the land of serene beauty and fiery passions. It is a land where the most melodious of voices and the fiercest of speakers have born. It is the land of great Sufis and revered war heroes. Sportsmen, scientists, engineers, philanthropists have all been a part of this nation and they just keep coming.

Twitterati trended #GloriousTalesOfPakistan on Monday to honor all these heroes and though they may not have highlighted all of them, they certainly highlighted some of the greatest stories that belong to this land of the pure.

Most definitely, it has to start with the great philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi, the man to have set up the largest ambulance netwrok in a third world country with charity only.

The young martyred heroes of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar were remembered by the tweeps.

Civil engineering was introduced to new horizons through the Silk Road.

Pakistan is prettier than any other part of the world. No other country can match the beauty of this country.
