Pillion riding banned in Karachi, Lahore due to Youm-e-Ali (RA)

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pillion riding has been banned on July 8 and 9 in Hyderabad and Karachi due to Youm-e-Ali (RA) on Tuesday. The ban on Pillion riding has also been enforced on the routes of procession in Lahore, reported Dunya News.
Strict security measures have been put in place countrywide for Youm-e-Ali (RA). Pillion riding has been banned on the recommendation of Sindh Police for July 8 and 9.
The ban will also be enforced in Hyderabad and Sukkur. According to sources in Interior Ministry, pillion riding will also be banned on the routes of procession as a recommendation has already been passed to authorities.
