More than 50 suspects detained during Rangers, police raid in Karachi
Bomb, explosive material and weapons were recovered from the suspects.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – More than 50 suspects were detained from various areas of Karachi on Saturday in Rangers and police operation, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, Rangers raided an area near Malir Jinnah Square and arrested four workers of a political party and shifted them to undisclosed location.
On the other hand, police during search operation took as many as 45 suspects in custody and confiscated weapons and drugs from their possession.
Besides this police also detained a worker of banned Tehreek-i-Taliban in injured condition after shootout whereas his companion managed to escape.
Bomb, explosive material and weapons were recovered from the TTP member.
Furthermore, Rangers on the information of detained worker of a political party raided Garden shoe market and confiscated huge cache of arms.
Moreover, residents also protested against Rangers raid and arrests from a madrassah near Jinnah Square.
