a- Land fire

There are different substances that can be used to complete the procedure. Solid carbon dioxide is one of the several chemicals that are used commonly.
How it is done?
A plane sprays the chemical (solid carbon dioxide) over the clouds from above which then results in rain.
The other way is to fire a missile from land carrying the same chemical which disperses in the air after blast and the comes in contact with the clouds thus leading to precipitation.

Different countries have been using this technique for years mainly to curb the prevailing food situation during rough days like drought. India and United States (US) are among the many countries.
Moreover, different Middle Eastern countries have also been practicing the technique to better the infrastructure. The authorities use this technique to convert deserted portions of land to green fields.

Sindh authorities are considering the option of artificially producing rain to counter the deadly heat wave that has killed over 474 people so far. The severe heat has taken its covers to Sindh downtown killing as many as 30 people there.

The experts answered the question of Can we control the weather? with Cloud seeding and sparked various debates regrading its positive affects on agriculture and other important sectors.
