GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Polling for PP-97 by-election is underway in as many as 33 polling stations in Gujranwala today (Sunday), Dunya News reported.
Election tribunal had ordered re-polling in the thirty-three polling stations of the constituency after rigging was proved there. As many as 52,550 voters will use their right to vote.
Ashraf Warraich of PML-N had succeeded in the constituency in the 2013 election.

Subsequently, the district court has released Tumma Butt on bail.
While talking to media, Tumman Butt alleged Senior House Officer (SHO) Gakhar of taking bribe money from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He said that he is continuously receiving threatening calls from SHO Zubair Bhadar.
