CM Punjab said that he cannot bring the brothers back to life but will ensure justice for them

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has on Monday said that the killing of 2 brothers in Rawalpindi was nothing short of tyranny. He said that he cannot bring the two brothers back to life but will do everything to ensure justice for them, reported Dunya News.

Addressing the Cabinet Committee for Law and Order via video link, Shahbaz Sharif said that the death of the brothers was tragic. He said that there were no grounds for direct firing even if the unfortunate brothers hadn’t stopped at the check-post. “An entire family stands devastated today. Who is going to answer the questions of their mother and sisters?” questioned the CM.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the act of Rawalpindi police officials involved in the killings was inhuman and unprofessional. He said that the RPO and DPO Rawalpindi did nothing for the police officers’ training.

Expressing his annoyances, CM Punjab said that such incidents raised genuine question marks on the performance of the police and were intolerable.
