The protesters demanded early solution to this crisis.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Public’s unease is increasing in Karachi as the water crisis has intensified in the metropolis. The claims made by Water Board of providing free water tankers in areas severely hit by the crisis have proven hollow, Dunya News reported on Monday.

The unabated intense hot weather has escalated the demand of water, forcing the residents of Gulbahar Colony to take to the streets. The protesters blocked the roads and chanted slogans against local government.

Natives of the area said that there has been no water for the last three months but they are receiving water bills regularly. They said that they registered their complaints at all levels but the management took no action.
