Seven terrorists killed in Karachi's Orangi Town: DG Rangers

KARACHI (Dunya News) – At least seven terrorists have been killed while one sustained injuries during Rangers’ operation in Orangi Town area of Karachi so far, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

On a tip off received about the presence of criminal element, Rangers conducted a raid in Orangi Town where as many as three terrorists blew themselves up killing all of them while one was arrested in wounded condition.



According to the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) Inspector Mohammad Abid, about four to five kilograms of explosive materials were used in the blast whereas the criminals had also used Improvised Explosive Device (IED).

As per details, Rangers have claimed of confiscating two hand grenades, four Awan bombs and riffles from the possession of the militants however, the security officers have also cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.



In another seperate operation in Al-Sadaf Colony, security personnel launched a search operation and killed two suspects while two more terrorists were killed by Rangers during an alleged encounter in Mominabad.
