Zardari strongly condemns Safoora Chowrangi massacre
Former president directed Sindh govt offer full assistance to affectees
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former president and Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday strongly condemned Safoora Chowrangi massacre and directed the Sindh government to ensure every kind of assistance possible to the affectees and to bring culprits to the justice.
In his statement condemning the attack, Zardari said that the cruel and merciless attack on innocent citizens is highly condemnable. He said the perpetrators are cowards who targeted innocent civilians.
The former president said that the community that has been targeted is one of the most peaceful communities of the country. He prayed for eternal peace for those passed away and quick recovery for the injured.
Zardari directed the provincial government to provide every kind of assistance possible to the affectees and to bring the culprits to the justice.
Former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and other PPP leaders also condemned the incident.
