SSP Malir Rao Anwar tenders unconditional apology in SHC
Earlier, SHC issued non-bailable arrest warrant of SSP Malir Rao Anwar.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar presented himself before the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday and tendered unconditional apology on his absence which the court accepted, Dunya News reported.
The SSP stated that he reached the court late due to traffic jam on which Justice Salahuddin Panhwar said that action will be taken against those who disobey the law whereas the court knows how to implement its decision.
Earlier, SHC issued non-bailable arrest warrant of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Rao Anwar on failing to appear before the court,
SHC had directed SSP Malir to abolish the illegal possession of seven acre land but he neither ended the possession nor reported in this regard.
On this act of SSP Rao Anwar, the court issued his non-bailable arrest warrant and also ordered IG Sindh to detain him and present before the court on next hearing.
