Punjab Assembly sessions to be held every month except July
Parliamentary calendar has been made part of Assembly rolls of business
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Assembly’s parliamentary calendar for the session 2015-16 has been finalized on Wednesday. Parliamentary sessions will take place every month barring July, reported Dunya News.
Former Law Minister Rana Sanaullah headed a special committee which finalized the calendar for Assembly sessions and gave recommendation for its approval.
Parliamentary calendar has been made part of Assembly rolls of business.
According to the new calendar, the duration of parliamentary sessions will be 7 days in January and February, 12 in March, 7 in April and May, 12 in March, 7 in April and May, 15 in June, 7 in August, 12 in September, 7 in October and November while in December it will be of 12 days.
