Pakistan is not participating in Yemen war, clarifies Tasnim Aslam
Tasnim Aslam further stated that many stranded Pakistanis have been evacuated from Yemen.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam on Thursday has clarified that Pakistan is not taking part in ongoing Yemen war but it will not compromise over the dignity of Harmain Shareefain, Dunay News reported.
During a weekly briefing in Islamabad, Spokesperson has assured to defence Saudi Arabia as Pakistan posseses strong relations with Saudi leadership.
She said that the government is in a continuous contact with Saudi leaders to ensure peace in the region and also condemned the activities of non-party elements.
Tasnim Aslam further stated that many stranded Pakistanis have been evacuated from Yemen until now.
Talking about the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister, she added that key issues including Yemen situation and regional integrity were taken under discussion with him.
Moreover, she said that Chinese president has also been scheduled to visit Pakistan soon.
