How could we forget the singer who is claimed to have sung the most number of songs (approximately 56,000. But there is a dispute) ever? The singer of the legendary songs like "Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhe", "Tu Ke Na-Waqif-e-Adaab-e-Ghulami Hai Abhi", "Sau Baras Ki Zindagi Mein" and many others, Mehdi Hassan was also remembered by the tweeps.

Folk singers, classic singers, pop singers, jazz singers, good singers, bad singers; there are many. But there was only one Reshma. The singer of "Lambi Judaai" and "Dama Dam Mast Qalandar" remains one of the biggest names music has produced in subcontinent.

Pakistan s film industry may have been in troubles for the past few years but there was a time when this industry churned out heroes that were unparalleled in their popularity in their times.
One of the biggest such names was that of the legendary Sultan Rahi and his dialogue from his 1979 classic "Maula Jatt", maule nu Maula na maare te maula naee oo marda

We don t produce many scientists, unfortunately. But the one that we did, took the scientific understanding of the world to a whole new level. That was Dr. Abdus Salam, the man who laid down some of the earliest theoretical groundwork that led to the discovery of Higgs Boson.
