Karachi: Security forces kill 2, arrest 14 in different operations
The killed criminals were involved in target killings of several policemen , says SSP West
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The police and Rangers on Wednesday have killed at least two criminals while arrested as many as 14 in separate operations. While unidentified culprits murdered two people in Baldia.
According to the details, the police conducted an operation in Manghu Peer and killed at least two criminals after they resisted capture by opening fire at the security forces. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West said that the killed criminals were involved in target killings of several policemen.
Dunya News has obtained CCTV footage of target killing of policemen on March 10 in Aram Bagh area. The CCTV footage shows culprits absconding from the crime scene on motorcycles after they gunned down police personnel. Policeman Shakeel succumbed to the injuries while another was injured in the target killing incident.
Separately, the Rangers has arrested at least 14 miscreants from different areas of the city. According to the Rangers spokesperson, the arrested criminals belong to different political parties and banned outfits. The Rangers has seized weapons from their possession.
On the other hand, the police have found the bodies of Zarguna Bibi and Memoona, mother and daughter in Baldia who were killed by unidentified murderers.
