Victim of Youhanabad Tragedy laid to rest
The victim, Muhammad Naeem, a glass worker was laid in to rest in area of Mustafabad
KASUR(Dunya News) – Body of the victim Muhammad Naeem who was lynched by the mob and burnt in the aftermath of attack on church was laid to rest in Kasur.
The funeral procession was attended by many citizens which included members of assembly.
The victim, Muhammad Naeem, a glass worker was laid in to rest in area of Mustafabad.
Upon the arrival of his body in his hometown, an uproar started as heirs and relatives of the deceased mourned his death.
Prior to the handing of body, the heirs and relatives of the deceased protested on the streets by burning tires and blocking the roads of the city.
The markets remained closed during the duration of protest.
The victim Naeem had his glass shop half kilometer away from Youhanabad colony. When the blast occurred, police rounded him up on suspicion and carried him to the police car during which the mob rounded him up and started beating him in the car.
After a round of brutal beating, he was set on fire which caused his demise.
Dunya News televised the whole affair and aired pictures of the murderers which were seen by Chief Minister Punjab, who gave the order of immediate arrest of the perpetrators.
