ASWJ postpones protest against target killing of Dr Fiaz
Maulana Aurangzaib Farooqi demanded to nab the culprits immediately.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Protest outside Chief Minister House Sindh against the murder of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) leader Dr Fiaz has been postponed today (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, ASWJ workers first staged protest outside the hospital against the target killing of ASWJ leader Dr. Fiaz and his driver Arif.
The protesters then marched towards the CM House in the form of rally and staged a sit-in.
Additional Inspector General (IG) Ghulam Qadir negotiated with the protesters after which the party leaders ended the sit-in and announced a day of mourning today.
While talking to media, ASWJ leader Maulana Aurangzaib Farooqi said that the party will decide the future strategy after meeting the Sindh CM today.
He said that the police should immediately arrest those who took security back from the ASWJ leader and nab the culprits.
