Eyewitnesses said the police station was attacked at night and they couldn't see attacker in dark

FAISALABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) MPA from Faisalabad Rana Shoaib Idress, earlier accused of attacking Khurrianwala Police Station of Faisalabad and getting a suspect freed from police custody, was set free by the court on Friday as none of the eyewitnesses managed to recognize the MPA and the other suspects, Dunya News reported.

According to details, eyewitnesses maintained before the judge that the Khurrianwala Police Station was attacked at night and they couldn’t see the faces of the attackers in dark.

After these statements by the eyewitnesses, Justice Raja Pervez Akhtar of Anti-Terror Court declared Shoaib Idrees innocent and set him free.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PML-N MPA had attacked the Khurrianwala Police Station of Faisalabad on 19th of July, 2014, and had gotten an accused, charged with murder, freed from the police custody. The case against him was registered by the police.
