Karachi: Extortionist confesses to killing factory manager for Rs 2000
Extortionist has been receiving Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 for demanding money from factories for 3 years.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Extortionist, Abdul Raheem, on Monday confessed to killing the factory manager, Dr Arif Mustafa, for Rs 2000.
Talking to the media, the extortionist who gunned down factory manager in Karachi told that the victim was killed over the issue of extortion. He also admitted that they received Rs 3000 to Rs 5000 for demanding money with menaces from the factories.
He further revealed that a person named Ayaz sent them to the factory to collect money where the manager told them that the factory owner was in Dubai so the money can therefore not be provided. Abdul Raheem informed Ayaz of the situation and Ayaz ordered to shoot him down asking him to keep the speakers on so he could listen to the gun shots.
Abdul Raheem told that he has been in the business for the past three years.
DIG West Karachi told the media that Abdul Raheem has three accomplices and police were conducting raids in order to catch them whereas an investigation against the culprit has already been launched and he will be duly punished.
