Mirpur Khas: Five officers martyred, three robbers killed in police encounter
'Most-wanted' Chotu and Qurban Narejo among the robbers who got killed.
MIRPUR KHAS (Dunya News) – At least five police officers including two Station House Officers (SHOs) of Panyari Police Station were martyred on Saturday as suspects opened fire during a raid conducted on a tipoff whereas three robbers including ‘most-wanted’ Chotu and Qurban Narejo got killed.
The deceased officers include SHO Mumtaz Ali Baloch, Sub-inspector Waris, Sipoy Muhammad Faisal, Ghulam Hussain and Sajjad Ali.
The area had now been cordoned off and further police contingent has been summoned to counter the resistance.
