Decision about 21st Amendment is not pleasurable: Sharjeel Memon
The government will form a list of the cases to be tried in the military courts
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon on Thursday has said that they have not taken the decision about the Amendment in the Constitution happily and it is not a pleasurable act.
The meeting of the apex committee was held at the Chief Minister (CM) House. Corps Commander Karachi Major General Naveed Mukhtar, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad, Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar, Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana, provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Memon, Inspector General (IG) Sindh and others participated in the meeting.
The meeting chalked out a strategy for the implementation of the National Action Plan in the province.
Memon in a press conference after the meeting said that the strategy to send religious terrorism cases to the military courts has been chalked out. He said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has not taken the decision to favour 21st Constitutional Amendment happily.
The apex committee’s meeting also decided to put prices on the heads of as many as 500 target killers and at least 450 criminals involved in the extortion and kidnapping cases.
However, the next meeting of the apex committee would be held after ten days.
