Dense fog blankets Islamabad, disrupts flight operation
Traffic police have directed the people to avoid unnecessary travelling.
RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Dense fog continued to persist in Islamabad which has disrupted the national and international flight operation at the airport on Wednesday whereas the visibility level has dropped to zero in various areas.
Thick fog has blanketed the twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad which has resulted in creating problems for office going people.
Traffic police have directed the citizens to avoid unnecessary travel whereas the foggy weather has also affected the flight operation at Benazir International Airport.
As many as eleven international flights faced delay whereas four flights that were scheduled to take passenger from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi and from Islamabad to Gilgit got cancelled.
