CJ takes suo moto notice of illegal hydrants in Karachi

The action has been taken by considering the petitions filed by Human Rights Cell.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk on Tuesday has ordered an instant hearing by taking a suo moto notice against the illegal hydrants in Karachi.

As per details, a suo moto action has been taken by considering the petitions of Human Rights Cell, which will be heard at Karachi registry of Supreme Court (SC) in this week.

It is pertinent to mention here that the unauthorized hydrants have not only created water shortfall but have also caused various environmental and health issues.

Moreover, illicit hydrants have also disrupted the system of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board.
