Altaf Hussain condemns extra-judicial killings of MQM workers

Altaf Hussain revealed that MQM workers are being targeted for reprisals.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Chief of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain in his statement on Wednesday condemned the extra-judicial killings of MQM workers and stated to file a case against them if police find them culprit.

The MQM Chief strongly criticized the government and added that no one has right to slay any of the workers of MQM by himself rather than presenting him before court.

He further pronounced that there are some people in police and other relevant departments who are famous due to extra-judicial murders.

Moreover, Altaf Hussain revealed that the MQM workers are being targeted for reprisals.

Earlier, in charge of MQM Rabta Committee Qamar Mansoor condemned the extra judicial killing of MQM worker Syed Qasid Ali also known as Sikandar from Ali Garh sector; Qamar was addressing a press conference along with other party members. He said that police in civilian clothes arrested Qasid Ali from airport and then his dead body was found from Mawach Goth.

Rabta committee demanded Civil Aviation Authority to provide CCTV footage of the arrest. They also demanded to include Director Passport Khalid Memon in investigation.

Rabta Committee blamed that MQM workers are being targeted in the name of Karachi operation. They said that MQM workers are getting killed in current Peoples Party’s government, as they were being killed in the rule of Naseerullah Babar.

Rabta Committee said that if arrests and extra judicial killings of MQM workers will not stop, then government will be responsible for the outcome of protests by MQM.
