Passage of 18th amend restored Constitution: Zardari
President Zardari said that his government has restored sanctity of the Constitution distorted by the dictators and added that passage of the 18th amendment proved this.Zardari expressed these views while addressing the labourers in Bahawalpur today. He said that political actors mistook me and kept on saying that I will strengthen myself instead of the Parliament, but I have proved all of them wrong, asserted Zardari. Conspiracies have been hatched against PPP government always, but somehow it managed to tackle all the problems, the President added. He said that he was aware of water and employment issues of the people of Bahawalpur, and assured redressal to them. He said that BB was not given enough time to address the public issues, however he vowed to fulfil the promises the former made to the poor.
