COAS meets Afghan president, mutual interest matters discussed

The DG ISPR has declared the meeting with both the president and the security adviser a success

KABUL (Dunya News): The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif met Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani and other high ranked officials including National Security Adviser Hanif Atmaar, separately.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asim Bajwa, the COAS met the Afghan president on Thursday in Kabul and the matters of mutual interest and Pakistan-Afghanistan relations have been discussed between the two.

In a separate meeting, the COAS discussed professional affairs and defense cooperation matters with National Security Adviser Hanif Atmaar. The DG ISPR has declared the meeting with both the president and the Security Adviser a success.
